Common Core

Our mathematics core curriculums are heavily aligned with the Common Core Standards, which are closely based off the NCTM standards. Although we may not agree with every detail of the standards, we have made a great effort to build our curriculum around their guidelines and principles when possible. United States schools have mostly unified around the Common Core, and although it is a frustrating process to switch over, the anticipated consistency and fluidity from grade level to grade level in every classroom is going to be incredible. This monumental shift stands to significantly improve mathematics education in every school, and it is incumbent upon all of us to do our part.
