This year, DEEP celebrates 5 years of raising the bar in community education, continuing to offer qualified teachers and exceptional curriculum to our high schools. Additionally, our math department has been working on developing a series of textbooks more suited to the needs our community students and schools. On this occasion, we are excited to release our first Algebra textbook in time for the upcoming 2016–2017 school year. It will be used by hundreds of our high school students.

Much of the text's material has been tested in many classrooms this year. We are working hard at this time not only to complete this milestone, but also to incorporate the insightful suggestions we received from students and parents to help make this project effective on all levels. The layout, readability, diagrams, explanations, and overall clarity are among the many improvements. We will also be providing a series of brief instructional videos on every lesson as a much needed resource for any student or parent.
